The deal maker was the half board: 50E for individual and 90 for double. A good 3-course dinner with Ribera Duero wine and cooked breakfast. We got the "atico" rooms. No views but small windows. Rooms are very basic, simple and clean. Clean sheets, would prefer crispy sheets. Bathroom is spacious, clean with toiletries. Door knob was coming off because door was sticking and difficult to open + close. My friend on the other hand had a bad experience. He complained of the single bed being bumpy and woke up with a backache. The best thing was waking up to a small, quaint, medieval village (a bit artificial though. everything done up.).

Room Tip: If you want views, don't request the "abuhardillada" rooms

We stayed here 2 nights. A comfortable, good value hostal. It is in an easy to find and in a pleasant location. Rooms fairly basic but comfortable. Breakfast was very good value especially on the second morning when we were offered eggs and bacon. Lovely!! An excellent place to stay.

What a wonderful little find for a great stop over. Very clean, amiable, affordable hotel, with a lovely helpful, friendly owner. The usual nick nacks all in the room, hair dryer, clean fresh towels, complimentary shampoo, shower gel and body lotion, air~con a bonus, and great views out the window over looking the village and countryside. The breakfast outside the following morning was lovely, yummy bacon and eggs, fresh orange, coffee and toast. Perfect. What a quaint, sweet little village.

I have stayed in this very fine hotel twice. It is in the beautiful Medieval village of Medinacelli, perched on top of a hill. This hotel has been used by Spanish Royalty and famous actresses who have signed the visitors book which was shown to me.The food and the cleanliness of the hotel cannot be faulted and the bonus of the stay is the beautiful village to look around which is right on the doorstep. As the Hotel and village are on top of a hill the views all around are very spectacular.

We were travelling from Madrid airport to Barcelona and this was a great stopover only a few km's from the motorway. Medinaceli is a beautiful little village with some great sights. The hotel is great value for money with a good continental breakfast.
