on arrival the hotel looks unkempt. The gardens are not what is advertised. On arrival you have to wait for the one lift which holds 2 people and doesn't go where you send it. Inside the room is very basic. smells like cowpat or manure, the wardrobes dont lock the tv didn't work and we personally had to fix it if we wanted to watch it. you can hear your neighbors through the paper thin walls. Every time some flushes the toilet or uses the water it affects every room and you can hear it all night long gurgling through the pipes. Food please go eat elsewhere it is something you would serve in a hospital to sick patients who cant moan, when you ask for a simple salad the answer is no you have to have whats on the menu. Good point it is quiet at night outside and they clean your room. There is no air-con so dont recommend you come in the heat of summer. Staff not very helpful at all.

Room Tip: there are no good rooms

Hotel is in a quiet location. The twin room we had at the rear was good. Evening meal at the hotel was exceptional and we would not hesitate to recommend it. 5* quality for 3* price. Staff in hotel and restaurant excellent.

Room Tip: Just speak to reception

The town was lovely and quite close to Formigal for skiing, that is where the good points end. The hotel was very very noisey, as the walls were paper thin you could hear everything going on. The beds were tiny, breakfast was expensive for what it was. We were not told at the time of booking that the pool was shut and there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room. We left one night early as we couldn't face another night without sleep. The free WiFi was a joke.

This is a delightful hotel. It is quite traditional, with squeaky floorboards, but we had quite a large room with a comfortable bed. There’s no kettle in the room, but the receptionist willingly filled our flask and, when we were hungry, the cook made us an (expensive) sandwich, The reception staff speak just about enough English to get by, but in the restaurant it’s entirely Spanish, so take a dictionary if you want to understand the menu. We had the 14 euros set menu, which turned out to have quite a good choice although the included wine was pretty undrinkable (perhaps because I mistakenly ordered rose instead of red). Breakfast was fairly basic, but there was plenty of it. Around the hotel, the staff were helpful and very cheerful. There is a large swimming pool, which looks in rather a sorry state, but when my wife asked if she could have a swim, the maintenance man immediately got the filtration system going and generally cleaned it up. This was at the beginning of June and, as the pool is not officially opened until the middle of the month, it shows a lot of initiative on his part. Nonetheless, the pool does need investment to restore the surroundings. There are extensive grounds with some comfortable seating. The hotel is clearly signposted and easy to find, on the outskirts of Sabinanigo, but within easy walking distance of town. I would willingly stay here again.

Stayed again at this delightful hotel.
As we have a 6 and 1/2 hour drive ahead, went down to breakfast early, and not a problem. The staff were wonderful, and the food first class. That's why we return and will continue to do so.

Room Tip: Lift to all floors, all rooms are large that we have stayed in with a bath.
