When in Stoupa stay at one of the IO villas!
In may 2014 we first stayed here when they had just finished the villas. For this year's summer holiday we decided to go to Stoupa again. And what beter place to stay when in Stoupa is a IO villa.
The ever so friendly and sweet owners Goody and Kostas provided a beautiful small place with lovely lemon and olive trees and tomatoes growing in the garden. It's quiet but a good stay with a 4 year old.
When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Mary, she looks after the villas. Everyday she comes and sees if everything is okay and comes to bring you fresh tomatoes or lemons from the villa's own garden.
The interior is simple but sufficient and with two terraces there is always a place in the sun or in the shades.
And when you stay in villa nr 3 a beautiful sunset is assured!

It was a lovely place to stay and the owner was really friendly and helpful. It was nice to have the pool but it should be noted this is shared with the family and the other property which was fine for us but wasnt clear when booking.
It was also a shame that the villa was not stocked so we had to buy salt, pepper, coffee, oil etc. It would be great if staples were available but it might have been because we were the first guests they had - this may well have changed now there has been a turnover of people.
The town is nice but very quiet - it is also a 15 minute walk from the villa.
