Had the pleasure of being invited to this quaint little hidden gem by Andrea Briccarello of Bisol Prosecco. There were 12 of us in total and we seemed to take over the place as the little restaurant is small and cosy. The masterpiece of the place was the fire in the centre of the room. WAIT A MINUTE STOP PRESS! This is where the cooking of your food takes place???? Unbelievable. The team of 3 staff and the theatre that goes into the foodie journey we had was simply magnificent. We could have asked for a menu and chosen what we knew or we leave ourselves in the capable hands of the owner / chef / guru. Steaks from all over the wold cooked with different salts dependent on the texture and maturity of the meat. Grilled to perfection on an open wood fire and the accompaniments were also to die for....young radicchio root chargrilled was sublime! The venue itself very quaint and humble and it seemed you were able to shop for wine whilst you dined! We spent almost 4 hours in here and the atmosphere was electric and tables who were joining late had envy eyes all over the place! A magical experience and one which I will remember for many years to come! SUBLIME!
