My wife and I had seven nights here in late July. This is a lovely appartment, set in an old Mill, with high specification lift access and security,on the second floor of five stylish storeys. Overlooking a gorgeous tiny stone harbour, which also serves as the landing stage for the Como passenger ferry service ...once a week on Sunday! The view is unbeatable, with Lake Como in front and a pretty 17th C church to one side. The accomodation is interesting in that you need to climb a set of scaffolding steps to the Mezzanine double bedroom. Poss not great for kids up there, but there is a double sofa bed in the living room. Bathroom is of high standard, with shower and bidet with quality fittings, but was without a hairdryer. Kitchen well laid out. No toaster or electric kettle.TV was out of use. Wi-Fi. Good Pizza bar and restaurant behind, with a little Cafe a few metres down the main street. A maze of alleys and stepped streets dating from Roman times. You need to be fit to explore,as these Lakeside villages are built into the mountainside. Fantastic swimming platform at end of village and eateries at nearby Argegno.Parking very difficult so best use excellent bus/train service,or boat from Como to Argegno then bus 2 km to 'Huge Nest' This is a fab place!!
