we had heard about this place from locals in a bar in Somma and decided to try the pizza and the pasta one evening in August.
The place is very shabby chic but not overly done, the service is nice but just a little slow.
The pizza was very good - i had a whole wheat pizza with tomatoe, mushroom and onions and cannot eat cheese or oil on my pizza so the waiter got the order down exactly as it should be -and sibsequently the pizza was perfect which was brilliant. My daughter had a pizza marinara on a kamut pizza base with mushrooms and my husband had a lovely plate of spagetti with clams - bread was really good, tastey and warm, wine exceptional for the price and the salad and grilled vegetables were good but pricey at 5 euros a dish. On the whole we did have a nice meal and spent 53 euros which i think is very good for Milan - the whole experience was lovely and casual and perfect for our needs. I would return again to try the mains as the menue is varied and not overly expensive.
