Had a very pleasant dinner experience in this brasserie. Selected à la carte and were not disappointed with the dishes. Small but nice wine selection. Definitely a place to return to!

We had dinenr here as part of our package at Merlet hotel. So we only had limited choices from the 3 course menu.
Food was good and well presented, friendly staff.
Social distaancing was not really observed, tables fairly close together.

It was several months ago that we visited 'Grand Cafe Bourgogne' in lovely Schoorl.

Some friends invited us & what a great choice it was indeed.

The scenery, close to the sea, the tranquility & yes, 'the food'!

It's supposed to be 'the cheaper sister of Merlet', the Michelin star restaurant on the other side of the premises. Sure, 'Merlet' is completely different, on many levels, but the food & service you receive at 'Grand Cafe Bourgogne' is great also!

Good middle class restaurant bistro type service correct and friendly . Meals are well prepareren with fresco ingrediënts and well served .
3 course menu’s are fresco and valse for money

This "café" is attached to the famous Merlet restaurant in Schoorl. It looks to me that here one benefits of the same fantastic food as in Merlet, yet the prices are more affordable. The food is delicious. We had a three course set menu for 30 € p.p.. the presentation is out of this world, really what you get in your plate looks more like coming out of an artist's hands than out of a chef's. One critical remark: on a Saturday night the place is packed, and very noisy!
