This may look like a restaurant mainly catering to hotel guests, but don't be fooled: it is a place worth paying a visit. Food is fine, wine list is adequate, staff is attentive and courteous.

It was nice to have dinner in this restaurant. The food was good and the waitress was very polite to us.

The voucher gave us two three-course menus for the price of one.

We were able to choose to eat à-la-carte, although several dishes were surcharge.
We ordered carpacio and fishplate as starter, veal ribeye as main course and a dame blanche as dessert.

The staff was helpful and the courses were delivered in time.

Since the restaurant serves for the Hampshire hotel Jan van Scorel as well, during the evening the restaurant became pleasant filled which added to the nice ambience.

Cosy atmosphere, very good food with nice decoration and very affordable: 3-course menu at only 28 euros. Our server was very talkative, which we could have done without (can be a bit annoying, though with good intentions). Several meals are with indonesian inspiration. We asked for a glass of champagne as apéritif but they only add prosecco (champagnes only in bottle), a pity.

Tables were without tablecloth... strange. There was noisy evening, so no romantic.
