Easy going and cosy

3.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 14 Jul 2018via mobile
If you are looking for a place to take a breath, relax and find some peace- you need to go to Camperduin. Hotel is few minutes from the beach. Really nice and cosy. Could be little bit more clean and tidy. Breakfast is perfectly prepared- good portions, a little bit of everything, served in elegant way with friendly smile. You can also eat breakfast outside and enjoy the dunes in the sun.

Fantastic hotel. We were on a cycling tour and stayed here for one night. Check in was straightforward. We were shown to our room and shown the bike store where we could securely lock our bikes for the evening. We were given the disabled suite. It was beautiful. On the ground floor. Large living area, bedroom area and wet room. Couldn't have asked for more, it was immaculate. Outside we had a veranda with table and chairs and if we had needed it there was a wheelchair ramp. Staff were lovely. There's not much outside of the hotel. A couple of restaurants towards the beach. The beach itself is beautiful white sand but very windy. Cycling in the area is fantastic and that's what we were there for. Not sure if we would stay again due to the remoteness, but would recommend if you want peace and quiet.

People at the hotel were very friendly and helpfull. The room was need, with a little balcony. Also handy is that you can hire a bike at the hotel. The surroundings are very beautiful. The bike trails in the dunes are a lot up and down and sometimes steep. And also the wind at sea can be very hard, that is why I advise to hire a electric bicycle.

I love the place, it is near the beach and I came in the right time. The hotel is not big and is managed by family. They have beautiful ornaments near the reception table. You can also find maps and local attractions brochure near the reception table. My bed room was on first floor, and it was a clean one. I had door window going to a shared terrace. The breakfast was excellent. You just asked the servant what you would like, and they will provide them for you. However I think they only serve Dutch breakfast: kind of breads, youghurt, bacon, fruits, eggs. I could enjoy the place better if only I had internatinal tv channel at the room ;)

We only stayed here for one night as we made our way towards Den Helder on our cycling holiday. We had a ground floor room with views across the countryside. It had French windows and a small table and seating on a terrace. We used this as the weather was warm and sunny. We received a very warm welcome. The hotel is close to the beach. There is no restaurant at the actual hotel but they have a place a very short walk away near the beach. We ate there. Food was good. We also stayed at this hotel on our way back. We liked it here particularly the super breakfast. It was table service. The only draw back was that it did not open until 8.30.a.m. Next time we would like to stay a bit longer.

Room tip: 11 or 13 are on the ground floor with French WINDOWS AND GREAT VIEWS.

200 m from the beach, family run, nicely decorated - our ground floor room had a full kitchen and large terrace into the dues; free WLAN and free parking. The restaurant is directly at the beach. Perfect for long walks or bicycle-riding.

Room tip: take a room with view to the dunes, otherwise it might be noisy
