Incredible dinner at The Venicia again!! Don't miss the awesome Italian restaurant: Melchor and Manuel took such great care of us. Even the chef came out to meet us. The filet mignon was to die for, and the risotto was a delicacy. We can't recommend the place more, and you have to make sure to say hi the the staff; the simply the BEST!!!

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar
We have been to 6 or 7 Iberostar Grand’s, and this was our second visit to the Iberostar (now JOIA Paraiso) and the Paraiso has slipped a bit. First off, the workers are still fantastic and go out of their way to make the visit special. Special shout out to Rey the towel attendant, who made sure my father was OK, after a fall on the first day.
Food-Breakfast was not as good as in year’s past; just average. Lunch was good and dinner was great every night. Abraham Lopez was a fantastic server in the Gourmet, and I would recommend people ask for him to be the server. Also, it has now First come/First Serve (RSVP are taken at the Japanese restaurant). Wait times were anywhere from 30-1.5 hours so please be advised.
The negatives-Housekeeping didn’t leave-soap, TP or water two of the four days. The lack of giving out water was a little frustrating. When you get a water, it is a a big bottle water, and when they leave them it’s only two per room. You can ask the bar for more, but it’s a pain not having water in the room.
Other helpful employees: Estela at the lobby bar (quick and super friendly) Victor at the front desk, Roberto at the Gourmet and Freida.

The Italian restaurant was fantastic.
Cristina who greeted us was wonderful and attentive she even came and found us at the lobby bar when our table was ready.
Eusebio our server was fantastic and so kind. The Manager Manuel was also so kind and attentive. I have two severe food allergies and they were on top of it all and made sure I was safe. We enjoyed our dining experience here such a great pleasure. I also am not a meat eater so there were great options for me. Make sure you stop in and see them. 💓

It was my first time that I had ever gone a resort. It was for my birthday (thanks to the insistence of my lady) and thank you to Redtag.ca for granting me such a special trip.
The service was fantastic. Thank you to Victor and Salti for being of assistance and thank you to all the staff as well from the all the housekeeping, to the bartenders to the waiters. Daniel is the best bartender! Lots of "Mexican Water" 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
The location is beautiful. The only drawback to the beach was the seaweed on beaches but it was still a nice place to be at. The also work on clearing it around the clock. We stayed by the quiet pool and it suited us perfectly.
The food was good, there were a few hiccups with some of the room service food we ordered but other than that in terms of the buffets and restaurant choices, we were definitely spoiled for choice.
Getting around was a breeze with transportation via carts available at all times of the night. The weather was nice as well during the time and we only had rain briefly during three of the 7 days we were there.
We met some great people along the way and it was a time for the memory banks.
