It was an incredible adventure for my friends and me in our first time in mexico, very enterteinment time at the hotel, the view was amazing and Christian was pretty good with us very professional, we are expecting to go again very soon next summer, cant wait!

We went to Paraiso Beach after going to Tucan/Quetzal about 10 times. I'll start off with the staff being amazing! Particularly Santiago at the members area pool bar. He truly made our trip! He made sure our drinks were never empty and was full of ideas for new drinks for us to try! Bladimir(sp?) at the buffets in the morning was ALWAYS a joy to be around. His energy was phenomenal EVERY time! And Daniela who I had had the pleasure of meeting when I had stayed at Joia (when it was the Grand) still remembered me even though I was with a completely different group! So incredible and sweet!!
One downfall (that they have already addressed and are planning on fixing) was that 9 out of 9 of my group all had keys that stopped working at some point or another. Multiple times. We specifically made sure to not keep them by our phones, but they still didn't work. The front desk staff was awesome helping out with that though amd we were told that they plan on having wristband keys installed within the next year.
The beach area is also not very big. There's only a few feet of sand between the lounge chairs and the water, so if that's your jam, this may not be the place for you. We spent a majority of our time at the members area of the pool and thoroughly enjoyed it there!

This was our 2nd time back to this resort (Paraiso Beach) and so glad we came back after 6 years. The resort is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Loved the filtered water on each floor. Food was good too, especially liked the taco bar at the mall. This is a big resort so if you don't like walking 10-15 minutes to get somewhere don't go here. They do have a great little transit system with golf carts. Wish they could give more beer in the mini-fridge would be my only suggestion and more coffee. Looking forward to coming back one day.
