“Acabanes has become our home from home”

We have stayed at Acabanes for the past three years now, and are returning again in Ocober 2015. The house really does have everything you would want or need for a holiday in this beautiful part of France. We travel from Spain with our two Golden Retriever dogs and the large fenced garden is a real bonus. Walk out from the house and within seconds you will be wandering through beautiful vineyards with spectacular views over the local countryside, deer running between the vines, and birds of prey circling overhead. Back at the house you will find a wonderfully equipped and presented property, from the heated pool and spacious outside areas to luxury bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortable lounge and huge plasma television. For the more adventurous there is a well equipped gym and sauna as well as quality bikes for exporing the quiet country lanes.
A short drive away the local town of St Foy has an gigantic Le Clerc hypermarket with a wonderful array of fresh French produce, and well as an excellent Saturday market which meanders through the ancient streets. Several local vineyards offer free wine tasting, and the opportunity to buy quality wines at a reduced price, so with great local procuce and wine there is no real need to venture out to eat. If you can drag yourself away from the house there is an excellent golf resort within a five minute drive, which includes a top quality but a little expensive restaurant. Closer still Mdm Moutiers offers fantastic Perigordian food at reasonable prices but beware, the wine flows like water and you may be wise to walk to the restaurant!!!!

Just writing this review is getting me excited, I can't wait to go back!!!!!

“Excellent! Great pool, massive garden, superb entertainment.”

This is a lovely villa. Lots to keep everyone entertained - pool table, swimming pool, table football, Sky sports and the most extensive DVD collection I've ever seen.

“Stunningly beautiful”
Reviewed 14 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Acabanes was absolute heaven from booking the villa with Tracey, right through until the last day!
We arrived at Acabanes after a delay with the airline just as it got dark. Waiting for us at Acabanes was wine, fresh bread, ham, eggs, cheese.......just what we needed!
The VIlla was absolutely beautiful. Set in 2 acres of grounds and with views to die for.
Acabanes is decorated to a very high standard with no expense spared. Tracey really has thought of everything and much more. My son is.an academy football player and was in his element playing football with the provided goals, with his grandparents in goal. Lazy days by the beautiful swimming pool and stunning views.
Lots of little hideaways to go and bury yourself into a book (mini library provided).
Bike rides were one of the daily rituals with 9 high standard bikes provided and seats also if you have little ones.
A huge collection of the latest and classic DVD's should you want a movie or two!
The men were in their element playing on the pool table.

Highly recommend the Chinese in Eymet called Mama Chow and the PIzza's at the Italian restaurant.

Acabanes was truly breathtakingly beautiful and we would all love to come back again!
