We stayed at Magas for 3 nights whilst visiting Mykonos. It was perfect - 10 minutes walk down the hill into town, and I am a slow walker! The walk back uphill is fine too as it is only steep for a short section at the beginning :) Very easy and even though there is no footpath, we found it safe as the cars drive slowly out of town and you can keep near the walls. There is also a mini-mart directly across the road from the hotel and a car/bike hire place - very convenient! Being this close to town was amazing for the price, as most other properties this close were 300 Euro per night, minimum! The rooms were very clean and serviced every day, and the balcony was lovely for fresh air. The air-conditioning was so good that we could turn it off at night so we didn't get too cold! Georgia at the front desk was super organised and helpful, not to mention speaking many foreign languages including perfect English. She was so helpful organising our free transfers from the airport and to the port, and provided us with any advice we needed, including a handy map of town and directions too. The mattress was not the most comfortable I have had and the bathroom was small, which is very common for the Greek Islands (in my past experience) but I still rate this property as 5/5 because what you get for the price is an absolute bargain, free transfers as well, it is so friendly and you can't beat the location! The perfect place for a budget conscious traveller who is looking for somewhere clean, comfy, safe and convenient! Thanks Magas!

Magas hotel is the ideal place to stay when in Mykonos. It's all you need and at a good price. The location is great as well. Just outside of Mykonos town and easily accessible to all the beaches and port. Would recommend this place.

Clean basic room, we stayed one night, prior to island hopping. Friendly, helpful staff providing lots of local information along with maps. Airport pick up and they took us to the port the following day. Happy for luggage to be left after checkout.
Basic breakfast, overall great value.

This small hotel is really affordable for Mykonos, and with the bonus of free breakfast, wifi and transportation to/from ports it's just perfect for budget travelers. The staff are nice and welcoming, the woman in the reception even tried to call us to confirm the pickup time from the port. The room was clean and tidy and it had a small fridge for water and some drinks. There is a mini-market just outside the hotel and the town is just a short walk down the hill. Would definitely stay again.
