We had a very enjoyable stay in this charming house, it is well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need for a family and having 2 good bathrooms with nice showers and 3 toilets is a bonus when there are 6 of you. The enclosed garden with a deck and garden furniture was perfect for sitting out and enjoying the sunshine and an evening game of cricket then enjoying the fabulous starry skies. We went with extended family and dogs there was plenty of room for us all to relax. The owner was extremely helpful and answered any queries we had very quickly . The area is not really touristy and the village of Bais has everything you need we enjoyed our morning croissants from the boulangerie! We highly recommend the vet in Bais/Evron were extremely helpful and friendly with sorting out our dogs passports. We had lovely food in the Jardiners Bar in the square at Evron and coffees and crepes in Bais and Jublains. As I am a potter I was interested to track down some local ceramics, we found the Poterie in Jublains , beautiful work and reasonable prices also a craft shop and gallery next door well worth a visit. Also the lake near Jublains with a small beach was fabulous for a picnic and a swim . There was a lifeguard there in the afternoons when it got busy.
All in all a good holiday, if you are after a nice relaxing family break in a beautiful rural part of France then look no further.
