This must be one of the most pretty tracks around, stunning native bush and birds then out onto the most gorgeous beach and rock formations. I never get sick of it. The track has apparently been recently tidied up...well done DOC great job.

Make sure the tide is low so that you can walk on the beach side as well. Nice seaweed and shells ashore.

This was really impressive to see. It’s a short walk but we spent a while exploring the beach and the large undercut.

It's a nice short walk. Lovely views in the forest. However a part of the walk (beach part) was closed for maintenance. There was no sign for this at the beginning. Still a lovely view of the coastline. Sadly we couldn't get to the beach. Walk time is less then 15 minutes.

Can’t find anything on the web but there’s tape around the sign and a fence across the path. Good thing there are other good tracks around here if you have a car (Porarari river!) but you’d be livid if you walked out here for nothing.
