Close to Delhi, nestled in the Kumaon hills, a private villa is what we had all to ourselves for 3 nights... The most romantic birthday gift...

We were welcomed by the warmest of staff with my favorite music playing in the background... A room full of books and a dvd library got my heart as well!

A luxurious stay with the sprawling lounge and multiple seating arrangements both inside and outside... Full length glass walls with a spectacular view which was the view from the rooms too...

And what made it most memorable was the food - with every dish from prawns to chicken to mutton biryani to masala dosa, from different raitas to yellow dal and all those scrumptious desserts and not to forget the veggies!

Time for you to book your vacation too! I'm going next month with the whole family this time...

Manish has been a good friend for more than 20 years now. He has been sharing with me about crosswinds for a couple of years now but I never got a chance to be here.

We've been here since last two days and it's heaven. The luxury is of a five star but the personal touch by the staff makes it seven.

The experience is like I've bought this place as they make you feel like a king and it's only rented out to a single group at a time.

Food is to die for. Weather it is the chinese or Indian including biryani and fabulous omelettes. The chef is a quiet guy who cooks the best food I've eaten in a while. Can easily put any top restaurant chef to shame.

I can write forever but coming here is an experience that I'll surely repeat.

This was my second visit at the Villa. This time we were 3 couples with young children and we stayed for 3 nights. The stay was absolutely fabulous. The hospitality and service has really spoilt us for choice. In short you get a 'personalised' 5 star service and exclusivity bundled with a very tastefully built property. All the staff at the villa were very professional. Mr. Manoj was especially helpful and enthusiastic and even helped organise a picnic outing which was lovely. We also had a barbecue dinner on one of the nights and it was all set-up and prepared with utmost professionalism. The Cook was excellent and catered to both veg and non veg requests. Kids enjoyed as well spending time in the Library which has a good assortment of books and also in the outdoors. There is definitely a charm about this place which can cater to a variety of holiday moods. All in all, all of us including our kids thoroughly enjoyed the stay and are seriously considering making this villa our annual 'get-together getaway'.

We are two couples with young children from Faridabad. We have travelled across globe and were looking for a holiday where we could relax in a home away from home that provides a luxurious experience.

As per villa rules entire villa was booked for us as we booked two rooms. We booked shatabdi from delhi and then a short drive (40 minutes) from kathgodam and we entered our heavenly home - Crosswinds.

It was the most amazing holiday that we had... August the perfect time to be there with clouds coming inside the villa,

Perfect rooms, Bathrooms, Bose music system in lobby and the garden Bose speakers that made sure whether we were in lobby or garden we were always connected with same music.

Manoj and the chef Bhagat made sure anything that we asked was cooked to perfection with best of service possible. I would say they were excellent.

Manish, owner had made the villa with great taste and loves to take care of his guests. We asked Manoj and Bhagat that how they were able to give such extraordinary experience to their guests and they said that the owner Manish treats them like family and has told them to treat each guest in the Villa the same way that they will treat If Manish himself was staying there. We were truly impressed.
