Most of the front desk and breakfast room staff are very friendly and some speak English well enough to assist most guests. There are some however, that need an attitude adjustment and reminder of the industry they are in.

The room smelled and the shower was VERY moldy!?!?!?
The drain was sooo clogged that it flooded every day, we ever removed the top cover to try and clear the hair, but almost ralphed. We left it off thinking the maid (who doesn't have good hygiene) would clean it - NOT!?

Stay at the Best Western, the rooms are spotless, nicer breakfast and they are far more like American rooms than this place!

Room Tip: If it's summer, stay on the ground floor as this place gets hot and there's NO AC!

My wife and I loved this little hotel, tucked away near the Main river in a small village outside of Würzburg. The first night we arrived we were very late, and although no one was at the desk, the helper on the provided phone line was very accommodating in getting us into our room. Modern feel, and a very varied breakfast buffett that set the expectations for the rest of our trip.

This was such a nice place to find! We loved walking along the river and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful; the breakfast was plentiful and good. Our room was huge! We stayed in a junior suite on the bottom floor. It was wonderfully comfortable and spacious and clean! The town itself is gorgeous and well-maintained. The park is really a beautiful place to spend the morning. We hope to be able to visit again and stay here!

The front people were nice, the room was clean, and the overall atmosphere was great.
The location is not superb if you're not traveling by car: ten minutes from station, and we had to drag our luggage on the stone road which was quite uneven. But that adds the charm to the area and we were generally happy with the whole stay.

This is a well positioned hotel, just at the side of the river, west of Wurtzburg. Our rooms were comfortable, albeit small (something we found with all the hotels we booked via Booking.com) and clean.

There is a lift (something we now realise we need to insist on when traveling around in a car for three week) but to get to the entrance of the hotel, there are a number of steps to mount first. This was my main niggle with this hotel.

Breakfast was fine, with good coffee and a good selection of food to choose from.

The town however, is well worth the visit alone. There are lots of good eating places, walks along the river and a large park to investigate.

I'd come here again.

Room Tip: Ask for help with heavy cases.
