We booked two rooms for a one night stay. The rooms were very clean and adequate. Small kitchen area only set up for toast and microwave food - no facilities to cook a meal as no hot plates/elements and no pots or pans. Please bring ear plugs if staying here - extremely noisy at night; we didn't mind the cars - it was the huge double trailer trucks that rumbled by every 10 seconds during the night. More suitable for business, not families.
Nice staff at check in, room was very nice and extremely clean. Had a full kitchen and Sky TV which was good, WiFi was good as well, and I had a really good sleep.
The only downside was the low pressure in the shower, it had a low flow head on it and there would be no way I could wash my hair in there.
If you want a clean, tidy and friendly Motel AND HELPFUL CARING PEOPLE.Then this is as good as it gets, we made a genuine mistake and they helped us immensely to make our stay really memorable in Waihi..The staff were very helpful to any conversation concerning our stay.We booked for two adults and one teenager and we ended up with an extra grandchild for our trip which helped us to help our daughter have her tournament without worrying about a baby sitter. If i had a suggestion it would have been nice to have a phone available as not everyone carries a cell phone. We had part time staff who were not very experienced but still were very willing to at least try.
We stayed in unit 12 on ground floor. Motel excellent location, close to town and supermarket. . Unit provided us with sky tv, WiFi and kitchenette (microwave and toaster). Ould stay again and Definitely recommend.
This is a good motel, fresh, clean .
My unit had a very large bathroom with rails, helpful for the elderly
Owners were quite pleasant.
It is on the main road so it is noisy. Not good if you are a light sleeper.
