This is for all the people who say there aren't any traditional restaurants in CT, infact there are lots and this is possibly the most authentic. Luis only opens during the day as nearly all his customers are locals. We stopped by for lunch and got the last table, we were the only non-Spanish in there. Tapas is the order of the day and we ordered 2 tapas, 2 1/2 portions, a glass of wine, a beer and a coke for the lad. All the food was great, cooked fresh and brought to the table when it was ready. Service was so friendly, there didn't appear to be any difference between how we were treated and how the locals were treated. Price for a huge lunch was 23 euros.

Luis's was just a wee stroll from our villa .
I already knew this by researching the area beforehand and then I read a few TripAdvisor reviews before we got to Costa Teguise so it was on our " to try " list !
I almost don't want to write a glowing review LOL...I sooooo want to keep Louis's a secret ....keep it all to ourselves , the locals and those already in the know !
I will start by saying that during our first few days settling in whenever we passed by Luis's we always noticed how busy it was ( mainly with locals which is always a great sign for us ) ... we were calculating when we would have our first opportunity to call in ourselves.
Over the course of our stay we dropped by for breakfast , Tapas or lunch at Luis's ....we fell in love with everything about it ...the food, the atmosphere , the locals who used it regularly too got to know us and it is so lovely to be acknowledged and made to feel so welcomed.
Luis's food is really lovely , good food and lots of it all at a really reasonable cost . The coffee is delicious too . Service is outstanding . I thought Luis was the most charming , lovely man anyone could hope to meet .
He always greeted us with a warm smile and remembered whenever we had breakfast that we always like another coffee after we finished it .He goes above and beyond when it comes to Customer Service and he is a great Ambassador for his business and the area. The lovely young lady who often served us too was always happy and smiling and very friendly and always made us feel very welcome.
The chef knows how to put out good food....local tasty dishes and the best Tapas ever. We both adore his meatballs , Spanish omelette and Papas Arugadas.
Already looking forward to our next visit to Costa Tequise and hoping that Luis will still be there as he insists he is going to win The Euro Millions and retire .LOL

We eat here often whenever we holiday in Costa Teguise , food and service are first class and so reasonably priced . It’s always full of local Canarians and the atmosphere is very relaxed . The location is away from the beach so the service is unhurried and restful . Thoroughly recommend.
