Spent two weeks in one of the bungalows. Very spacious but poorly equipped. Very poor lighting, one heater only for the cold nights and we had to purchase our own ice cube holder.

I had been pleased to note that toiletries
We're provided, since it's annoying to drag them along only to find them provided, but the only sign of them was one very small piece of soap!

Nice pool area and bread delivered daily. Far from the luxury provided up the road in another complex we visited which had not been mentioned on trip advisor. There there was a microwave, dishwasher and cosy carpet and a lovely view from the balcony, an indoor and outdoor pool and for only a couple of hundred more euros for the fortnight

Just had a repeat visit for 8 days sharing a 2 bedroom villa with friends. Pleased to say these villas are still maintaining the high standards we experienced last year. The staff were very welcoming and helpfully throughout our stay. I tried to think of anything which could be added to the villas to improve our stay but I think they have got it right on all levels. Bedding is changed weekly and towels 3 times a week. The villas and patio areas are spacious and our patio had a view down the valley to the sea. We were adopted by a black cat and her 3 kittens who provided hours of entertainment on the patio. They were in very good condition and obviously well looked after.
This place has been carefully thought out and the staff are always happy to help with any restaurant recommendations or help out with loan sun umbrellas & beach mats if you want a day on the black sand beach at Tazacorte. The grounds around the villas were planted out with beautiful flowering shrubs, lawn and trees providing privacy where needed - obviously a talented gardener here!
We tried 5 different restaurants within 10Km and they were all producing good standards of food at fair prices.
These villas are a great base for seeing the island by car and located on the sunny side of the island. We are now planning another repeat visit here for 2014.

Apartment 7V. Tucked up in a well order urbanisation this complex of apartmnets is well worth a visit. Large spacious two bedroom apartmnet on one level with great views over the valley below. Clean and well equiped. The sun terrace had plenty of space to chill out on. The pool a little bit of a walk was clean and inviting with plenty of loungers around it. The inside of the apartment was bright and airy. No real receptionist but the cleaner took us to the apartment. Bottle of wine and fruit a nice touch. Choice of beds which alll had duvets which is much better that the sheets that they still use in a lot of hotels. One draw back is there are a lot of cats on the complex so if you don't like cats this is a no for you. Couple of restuarants nearby. Good wifi in the apartment The Carmen was especially good so worth a try. You will need a car to get in and out of here and there is plenty of parking.
Would I stay again Yes and just put up with the cats.

This is the first time I have solely relied on trip advisor reviews when choosing accommodation. Previous reviews were accurate and we are both really pleased that we chose La Villa. The bungalow for 2 is very spacious with separate lounge, kitchen, bathroom & bedroom including a small security safe and plenty of storage space. Each bungalow has its own private garden with patio area, table, seats & Sun beds with parasol. There is a TV and piped music but we didn't use these. The free wi fi is welcome but the signal was weak inside our bungalow. We have a part sea view from our patio which is ideal for watching the sunsets or enjoying breakfast etc. The bungalow is cleaned with a change of towels 3 times and bed linen changed once a week.
The kitchen has a full sized fridge with ice compartment, a 2 ring ceramic hob, filter coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, microwave with integral grill, table & chairs. Patio doors lead to a small patio area with a clothes drying rack. Pots, pans, crockery & cutlery are provided. One small critisism - there is no lighting over the sink & hob area.
The bedroom has twin beds, large wall mirror, a double wardrobe with hangers supplied & spare blankets. A good sized room with bed side lights and patio doors opening to main patio area.
The bathroom has a large mirror over washbasin with good lighting, full size bath with shower fitment & WC. Plenty of hot water available.
The lounge has a large wall mirror over a sideboard, large coffee table with 3 seat sofa and separate arm chair.
All areas were pleasantly decorated and well maintained. We found that most things you need for
for your stay are provided. This complex is full but we have found it to be really quiet and peaceful. If you fancy a trip to the black sand beach, then La Villa will even lend you beach mats, parasols and a book to read too!
The swimming pool is fresh water ( I think about 20 metres x 7 metres). Clean and well maintained in a separate garden area with a fabulous view out to the coast. This complex is fully occupied but we have never seen more that 6 other people using the pool. Showers provided around to pool and also sun beds.
On arrival we found the staff speak little English but this wasn't a problem. When the loo flush broke in our room, it was properly repaired immediately.
There are 2 restaurants within walking distance althought there is a hill to walk up on the way back to your bungalow. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant Carmen for good food & service.
Leave 50c for each bread in a bag on your door and the local baker delivers your bread fresh each day (except Sunday) direct to your bungalow in time for breakfast.
The bungalows don't have AC but there are plenty of windows to open. There are also a family of friendly cats onsite but they are well looked after and well behaved.
I think that a car is essential for a holiday on this island because there are many sights to see spread all over the island.
Overall we love this place and are planning to return next year.

Fresh flowers and bottle of white wine was a nice of hotel's compliment.

Simple, but everything you need for fully relaxing vacation.
Unbelievable views, looks like the tourist magazine cover page.
Ceramic lamps everywhere are very good looking.
Nicely cared garden, swimming pool, singing birds and butterfly around – make relaxing over the limits…
Private, fenced balcony with a table, 2 chairs and 2 sunbeds allowing you really private sunbathing.
Bread service - every morning fresh bread delivered at your door, sweet.
Fully equipped kitchen allow organize your day according your style.
2 restaurants nearby.

Rented car and some Spanish knowledge is essential there. Most people at tourist visited locations speak German.
Quite cold at nights.

When taking taxi or driving yourself after turn onto Celta calle look at La Villa signs.

In general, really great place for quiet and relaxing vacation.

Room Tip: I believe that all villas (bungalow) are great.
