Food was great, but grab an extra table as the staff don’t take plates away 5 times staff just walked passed with nothing in there hands stood at the counter talking really funny one came and took desert orders still didn’t take the plates away and I thought where are they going to put my desert and yep deserts arrived and nowhere to put them as the dinner plates were still there so it was put desert on the edge of the table lift the dirty plates over it worst service I have ever struck but the food was great so ask for an empty table to be put beside you so you can stack the dirty plates onto it

We all had enjoyable meals. Although not busy, our meals took awhile to arrive, but when they did they were well worth waiting for. The meals were well presented and hot. The atmosphere and service was very good.

We both had a lovely meal and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We were shown to our table but later had to get our own menus then go to the bar to place our order. Other diners didn't have this problem. We didn't have the $10 burger night, but we will be back again to do so.

I recently caught up with with some friends for coffee at The Barn in Waimate. The service was so good and the food options were great both savory and sweet with GF options as well. Great atmosphere compared with the other establishments in this area. Looking forward to to having a meal there soon as they looked delectable. Very reasonable prices. What more can you ask for. 👍😀

The two young waitresses looked to be the only staff on this Saturday afternoon. They got quite confused about any out of the ordinary coffee orders & weren't particularly friendly!! The water from the urn on the bar tasted VERY odd, maybe time to change the lemons??
