Don't stay anywhere else - the Aoraki Court Motel is everything (and a lot more) than you need. This was by far the best place we stayed in our entire trip - without doubt.
Helen and Gary are amazing, so friendly and helpful - nothing was to much trouble, from all my questions during my initial phone call to book to checking out.
Book direct and support local business - it was so easy!
The spacious and absolutely immaculate rooms are lovely - stunning views that are magical and just keep changing. Beds are very comfortable with quality linen. Great bathroom and self catering facilities.
If self-catering make sure you bring the food you need as no where to by anything past Twizel (great 4 Square there).
We stayed for 3-nights, though wish we had booked for at least 5 nights.
There are a lot of walking tracks of different grades plus other trips..... or just sit back with an amazing book.
We are totally hooked with Mt Cook and are already looking at booking for another trip; this time for 5-7 nights as a relaxing getaway. Of course staying at The Aoraki Court Motel again.
Thanks Helen and Gary for an amazing stay, your advice and friendliness.

Easy and friendly check-in, the room is spacious & clean. The view out of the window is out of this world! The spa was very nice and bath salt provided - was a great touch. Tired from extensive and spectacular hiking bodies - were very happy to soak up in that spa. Highly recommend to our fellow travellers!

Room tip: ask for one with spa bath

The Aoraki Court Motel was one of our favorite accommodation of all the 10 accommodations we stayed in while traveling throughout South Island! The room was very spacious and had a gorgeous view of the mountain ranges. The bed was comfortable and very cosy. The bathroom he bathroom was big with the spa bath, which seemed a bit luxurious for a motel! There was a good kitchen with a fridge, sink, etc.Helen & Gary were friendly and helpful. Great value for the money for such remote location. More than what we expected.

Room tip: Great view of mounting ranges

We stayed at Aoraki Court for 1 night amid the beautiful mountains and had a great stay in Unit 6. Staff and management were extremely friendly and helpful and we loved the local Edmund Hillary Centre.

The bed was very comfortable and the unit well equipped.
