Great views, clean, modern motel with cooking facilities (2 x electric hobs) and reasonable fridge and the usual utilities. The basics, but well done. Spa bath was a treat - but the temperature of the water in the shower varies at times. Not really a biggy. Great value - just ask for one of the front units to maximise the view of Mt Sefton.More

Fabulous motel, friendly staff ( not always the case as we have discovered). Best place we stayed at on our 14 day Sth Island roadie. We were lucky with the fabulous weather (has not always been like this on previous visits to the Hermitage).
Stunning view from the unit lounge of Mt Sefton. Kitchenware supplied was more than adequate, two person spa was lovely. Only suggestion would be some outdoor table and chairs to sit at, have a wine and admire the view.

We loved our stay at the motel. It has great views, room is awesome, quiet, and close to everything you'll need, cafes, restaurants, and all the best walks. Reception was lovely too. We would 100% return when we next plan our visit to mount cook.

Motel is in a wonderful location. A short walk from the Hermitage and other eateries. The staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive. The motel was warm and comfortable with a good bed. It had everything we needed and a stunning view. Would highly recommend it.
