This is a small hotel (about 12 rooms) in a fully renovated historical villa overlooking the town of Licata, well away from all traffic and noise. Staff are very gracious & hospitable, service is excellent in every respect. All the staff speak English well - a pleasant surprise. It is clean and very well-maintained.
The rooms are a bit smaller than an average hotel, but this is more than made up by the very pleasant public rooms & lounges on the main floor, and the beautiful and extensive garden areas outside. Rooms are comfortable, with all the amenities one could want, and surprisingly soft (by Italian standards) & comfortable beds. Internet is fast and free.
I stayed here for 3 nights, it was easily the best hotel I stayed at during a 4 week tour of Sicily. The hotel restaurant is excellent.
You do need a car, though, if you stay here - it is located well away from the downtown area (not that there is much worth seeing in Licata).
