“very peaceful”

We stayed here for the last week in August. A very small site very tranquil, ideal for younger families and older couples, not much on the site for older children teenagers. we hired a 2 bedroomed caravan which was only 1 year old, it was very clean. Everything was in good working order, the only complaint was that we paid for sheets etc and there were some bad stains on them. There is a small shop / reception but it only has the very basics.

“Great short break in a static caravan”
Reviewed 4 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We stayed for two nights to visit whitby, robin hood's bay and the area. The caravan we stayed in was excellent, really modern with everything we required - flat screen tv, microwave comfy sofas etc. It seemed very new and was also very clean. The site has a nice playground which the kids enjoyed and the local pub is very close. I paid to use the wifi as I couldn't get a signal on my mobil ehere, the wifi was fine and was quite quick. We would stay again.

Stayed from 25/08/14 until 30/08/14 Reservation and booking in was quick and simple we had 3 Plots booked one guest was arriving mid week we asked for plots together this was sorted without problems by the owners.
We had a great time weather was good site facilities where clean and suitable for all ages our group was aged between 80 years plus down to 3 years old.
Having Electric hook up and Water taps at each pitch on 2 out of 3 fields was excellent and made things easy for all of us the site is well sheltered and not noisy except for countryside sounds ie birds Owls etc and the sound of trees rustling made for a pleasant sleeping environment.
Plenty of space for Games and general socialising around the Pitches Childrens play area was good and safe.
Not sure why this site has lots of negative reviews about the walk to the toilet blocks as we found using a portable at the tent for night time and normal facilities during the day worked perfectly for us as a group.
Other facilities such as washroom and potwash where very good and bins where emptied twice while we where there, one other good point was the light on the Hook up/ tap post Well done to the owners for making our stay fantastic from start to finish

This is asmall site, located in alovely village with pub,and shop.
The owner was very welcoming upon arrival, the caravan was clean, well equipped with bed linnen and kitchen utensils.
The park is very well maintained with good toilet, and shower block.
Asmall shop is on site for essentials.
AND if you got young children, its safe for them to run around in..
It is in avillage so if you want asite with swimming pool, discos and bars etc this aint for you. However if you want aquiet base to stay, then go out and explore this is ideal, there are many attractions all within the local area, and the train service from malton to eithr york or scarborough is good.
Its certainly aholiday park we would return to one day,and recommend.

“Great site great location.”
Reviewed 26 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

A great site and great location. The site had a lovely family feel, super clean amenities and friendly efficient service from the owners.
The location couldn't be better. Easy walking distance to the village and a little gem of a public house. On the doorstep of Castle Howard. Other great days out all in easy reach include York, and Eden Camp. For slightly further a must see is Fountains Abbey. The town of Malton is also only a short drive.
