We stayed at Nugget View & Kaka Point Motel with our family from Netherlands and found it very easily.
The hosts were really friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and spacious.
They helped us with good information about where to go to see penguins and seals so we were able to do that.
It was a great stop on our trip.
Would definitely stay here again.

I wish, I could have stayed longer. At lot things to explore are around.
I slept very well, as it is cosy and very quiet. You don't hear your neighbours. Kitchen facilities are very well equipped and clean. Very much to recommend.
We stayed in Unit 14, a two bedroom motel unit with shower and kitchen facilities consisting of a two ring hot plate and microwave. The unit was very clean and spacious. We had great views of both Kaka Point extending to Nugget Point and from the other window Port Molyneux. Host was professional and welcoming, the servicing team were very friendly and helpful. The motel is a short walk (downhill) to the beach, cafe etc. It is a fairly steep uphill walk back. It is a good location from which to visit Roaring Bay, Nugget Point and other location beaches. Would recommend the motel and happily stay again. The main bed was OK, a bit soft and bouncy for my taste. Whilst wifi is included without additional charge the host did warn us it was a rural location and may be slow on occasion, however we found it working fine even when a number of devices were used.
We booked one night at the Nugget View and Kaka Point Motels on our trip around New Zealand’s South Island. I wished we could have stayed longer. The king studio unit was spacious, sparkling clean, well appointed and had stunning views. Kaka Point offers a lot. Surfing, swimming, beach walks, bush walks, plus many nearby sites such as Nugget Point and Lighthouse and Roaring Beach, a home to penguins, seals and sea lions. The management was very friendly and the price extremely reasonable.
Booked this place last minute over the new year period on a recent trip.
Very tidy & acceptable 2 bedroom self contained motel unit. It was good to have some decent cooking utensils & even have cooking oil provided (often something you forget to get or don't have on you when travelling so thank you!)
We had the end unit & had nice views from both balconies.
A couple of light bulbs were blown in the lounge, nothing a bit of shifting around of bulbs didn't fix though. One of the shower caddy's fell off the wall during the night, the sticky thing failed.
A great spot, would highly recommend these motels & would stay here again.
