First of all , got to say amazing value, have paid a lot more elsewhere and felt robbed , probably the best value for money Sunday lunch we have had £6.49 !
Some places give you just roasties , , It aint a sunday dinner without the mash, and glad to say the Blagdon gives you both , a very large yorkie , and 4 fresh veg not frozen stuff , carrots cut in big chunks as they should be cauli, cabbage and string beans , if you get chicken , you are served with 2 big breasts and cooked spot on, now here's the gripe and the thing that stopped it being excellent , the beef was far too chewy , I managed mine by cutting into small pieces and perseverance but the Mrs had to leave hers , this is a pity as you get 2 large thick slices, and it spoilt what was otherwise a great lunch, and an added bonus was the pint of well kept real local ale from Consett, we will be back and have the chicken , but hopefully their meat supplier will be informed about the beef

Been in for Sunday dinner and breakfast. Both were great value. Sunday dinner was homemade with great Yorkshire puddings. Service was good. Football was on and what a place to watch sport, sound was on. Best place for sport in crammy!

I was here last year (Oct 2016) for a Psychic Medium night with Suzanne Gill.

Lovely little pub, warm cosy fire and nicely priced. Food, I can not really comment on
as we only had a bowl of chips each.
Ladies toilets need to be updated as the decor was very dated.
