I've surfed for several years, and my girlfriend had never tried before. We stayed a few days at the lodge, and decided to try a pack of surf lessons. Gonçalo is the best coach I've ever met, he and the other coaches were super careful with my girlfriend, and although she is a bit afraid of the sea, she loved the experience!
Even for my own more advanced surf, Gonçalo selected the best spots, he filmed me and gave me tips on how to improve. Amazing days, will definitely come back!

It was our very first time as beginners on surf. Our teacher Goncalo was very helpful and accurate with instructions. We had a really great time and if we ever come back to Lisbon we will absolutely choose Time to Surf again for surf lessions.

We had an amazing time learning to surf. We've surfed a couple times in other countries before and also taken classes then.
This was our favorite surfing experience. Our instructor Mauro is very knowledgable and a great teacher.
Mauro would really look into our technique and make sure we adjust and learn from our mistakes. We really felt like we got better from this one class.
I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to learn to surf or get better at surfing. You're in good hands with the Time to Surf team

We had a blast with surfing instructor Mauro! He really took his time with each of us and patiently taught us everything.
As beginners we firstly learnt all about the basics involving surfing (right surfing boards, other equipment...) then we had a good warm-up and lastly short course on how to surf (paddling, balance, timing and picking the right wave etc.)
If you visit Portugal and want to try surfing near Lisbon, definitely check them out, you won’t be disappointed! The price is also fair.
(Also you get your own board and a swimsuit.)

I really liked the way the surfinstructors teached me how to experience the first time with the surfboard. They were really motivated and always at your side to help you. I had a great day and i would recommand every sportsfan to take a surflesson while youre in Lisbon.
