The place is amazing and is very well maintained did the quad bike which was for an hour and tiger safari both which were great. Driving the quad bike was fun and seeing the animals from close as well. They have many birds too and you can walk through the aviary.

Not a good experience. Bad signage, rude staff.' Just did not like the place. Maybe ok for kids but not for the over 50.

We visited the Casela Park on the last day of our trip to the beautiful Mauritius. We were glad to to have booked interaction with the Lions. You need pay around 1000 MUR per person on top of the park entry ticket for interaction with Lions. The experience was so breathtaking and memorable. There will be people around you to protect you and control the lions. You will get to touch them and take photos as well. Take your camera and ask a fellow visitor to take your photos instead of relying on the Park staff's photo collection. They are expensive. The Safari was okay with Ostriches, Rhino and Impalas around.

Large park with lots of activities including karting, zip lining, segways, quad bike riding and roller coaster for those who want action. For those looking for adventure there are some awesome animal experiences you can do.
We arrived at park as soon as it opened, which we would recommend, as it does get crowded as the day goes on. Our first stop was interaction with a Cheetah, where we got to go inside the enclosure with 4 keepers and pat the Cheetah, our second stop was a 45 minute walk in a group of 12, with 2 lions. Both events were amazing, you felt very safe with the guides who accompanied you and to be able to touch these awesome animals was just brilliant.
Included in the price of your admission is a trip through the Safari park on a bus. This was very disappointing, very few animals and none that were really close. As the island has had a lot of rain, the track was also very rough, and if you suffer from a bad back then we wouldn’t recommend.
Where the safari leaves from is where the Giraffes and Camels are and for 200mr at certain times of the day you can feed the giraffes. This was another great experience and highly recommended. You can also visiting the petting zoo and there are a number of bird enclosures, none of which we visited.
You can easily fill in a whole day here.
Tips:
Book your activities before you get here, either on-line or through your tour guide -saves time when you arrive
Arrive early and beat the crowds to the activities
Wear closed in shoes for your activities

Dear 2AussieGirls

Many thanks for your feedback and sharing your precious comments with visitors worldwide. We are delighted that to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed the activities at the Big Cats Kingdom as well as feeding the giraffe.

We are in the process of improving the roads in the safari which will greatly enhance this experience as several species can be seen in the African Savannah - zebras, impalas, ostriches, wildebeest and other kinds of antelopes.

Thanks for the tips!

A well kept, well managed park. We paid a small supplement to feed the giant tortoises and the giraffes which was well worth it. The safari ride through the lion and tiger enclosure was also excellent. We saw them up so close. A very worthwhile day out for all ages.
