We booked the tour the day before at the Coromandel Information Centre. A very comfortable mini-bus picked us up in Coromandel at 8.30am and Mike was a very informative guide with a running narrative on the drive to Fletchers Bay, with stops both ways at Colville for refreshments. The road is narrow and winding and it is good to be passengers and take the time to enjoy the view and not just watch the road! This is not a walk you can do yourself as the 10km walk is one way, with pick-up at Stony Bay and we were grateful for the cuppa and cake before returning to Coromandel. The coastal walk is quite steep in parts and you need to be reasonably fit.
Thanks for your response,I have just locate it after some computer adjustments, how, your remarks were much appreciated.
