This was our second stay with Anne and Peter in their beautiful home, we were so impressed when we booked with them 2 years ago that we didn't even consider staying anywhere else in Coromandel town this time around and even though it had been a while since our last visit they still remembered us!
Anne and Peter have a beautiful, relaxing b&b, lovely comfortable beds and superb home made breakfasts.
They are also a wealth of knowledge when it comes to suggestions of what to do and where to go right around the Coromandel peninsula.
We hope to stay with Anne and Peter again sometime soon.

Thanks Guy's, we enjoyed your laughter so much & loved listening to your travel stories since staying with us previously, believe me you are welcome back any time. We are only too happy to help with suggestions of what to do & where to go, as you know there are so many different places & experiences on The Coromandel, we have had people stay for up to a week & still run out of time..Look forward to seeing you both again one day. Thanks so much, Anne & Peter

Anne and Peter Gray are wonderful hosts and the property is very comfortable and peaceful, overlooking the mangroves and the harbor. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms with comfortable bed and roomy bathroom. Like nearly every place on the Coromandel there was no AC but the evenings were comfortable...we weren't there during the day but were out enjoying the amazing scenery. Anne was so helpful prior to our trip via email, even helping secure a local car rental, and provided help while we were there with local knowledge and suggestions. Peter did the cooking in the morning and the food was excellent and plenty of it. We would stay at the Mangrove Manor again without hesitation.

Thanks so much Clint for your kind words, and glad to hear you enjoyed yourselves enough to come back & stay. I'm also glad everything flowed with you regarding the Car Rental & ferry trip etc.. We did have a few hot day's in March this year, the ceiling fan's have made a huge difference now in the upstairs room's. Along with keeping the drapes closed this seems to work. I hope you guy's enjoyed your cruise on your way back up to the U.S.
Look forward to your next visit. Thanks again, Anne & Peter

A wonderful stay with charming hosts. It was the little extras, like roses in your room, advice on local attractions and places to eat, that made it very special. The more than ample breakfasts, either cooked or continental were delicious, and set us up for the day. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. From Brenda & Jan.

We stayed for a night on a very brief visit to Coromandel. The room was comfortable, the bathroom quite large. Breakfast had a nice mix of fruit, fresh Croissants and toast. We had a sea side view were we saw the sunset over the mangroves. It is a bit of a hike into town, so we decided to drive in.

Thanks Dubster, glad you enjoyed your night's stay, we are a 2-3 minute drive into Town, general feedback is, that it's worth it to enjoy the large property & the privacy that goes with that. The CMK Restaurant is only a 500 metre walk, but I understand that you wanted to head into Town... Thanks again, Regards, Anne & Peter

We stayed for 2 nights at Mangrove Manor. We had an upstairs room which was very hot the first night. The fan in the room did little to help. However, the room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. The second night, the room was quite comfortable. The hosts were gracious about setting up an early breakfast for us the second night, since we had to catch a plane back to the States that day. The hosts were knowledgeable about the area and gave us good suggestions about that to see and where to eat. I wish it were closer to eateries. You will need a car to go out and eat.

Many Thanks Lynn, you'll be pleased to know, the ceiling fan was installed the following day, and has made a huge difference.. I could see that you were struggling with the heat, it was only 25degrees but we were not getting any breeze...hope you arrived in plenty of time for your flight back to Iowa. Kind Regards, Anne & Peter
