What a lovely place! Just as the pictures show, though they don’t do justice to the inside of the cabins.
Nice comfortable bed, large room, the whole place was immaculate.
Great kitchenette if you want to cook, and a good sized balcony to sit and enjoy the ambience.
Only a couple of small complaints... the water pressure in the shower wasn’t very good. And there is no curtain or blind on the kitchen window, so the cabin got light pretty early (we left the bedroom door open because of the heat). That’s the only reason I’m giving it a rating of 4/5.
It was baking hot during our visit, and we found it out wasn’t easy to find a suitable power socket to plug the fan into and cool down the bedroom. But we managed by moving some furniture around.
The lady on reception was efficient and helpful.
We felt it was just a bit too far to walk into town in the high temperature, but could have been achieved in 35 minutes or so if we’d tried.
The site has some games around, and a great swimming pool.
It was really quiet and we enjoyed sitting on our cabin balcony in the picturesque setting. It’s almost like the front of a postcard.

My son in law, grandson and his mate from Auckland and I shared a two bedroomed unit last night prior to our musselbarge fishing trip today. A nice comfortable and clean motel. We'll equipped and very functional. Recommended.

Nested on the fabulous Coromandel Peninsula, from the moment you arrive you feel at ease and at peace with the world. individual 1920s Style colonial cottages each with their own name of a Hotel from years gone by. a large lounge with separate kitchen and all facilities as well as a double bedroom and single beds in separate room. Beautifully kept gardens and recreational area. along with two gas BBQs under a pagoda style roof.
Short drive to many tourist spots and fantastic Fishing. The Cottages also have fish filleting facilities . Great kids play aera that has recently been upgraded. IMHO the only place to stay in the Coromandel and you must visit the Driving Creek Railway. Best views of the area are from the Eyeful Tower.

Independent apartment style rooms with sharing bath. Location is superb and good access to the rail attraction and to cathedral cove region also. Jeanette the owner was very friendly and gave god tips for local attractions. We stayed for a night here. Parking adequate and inside premises. Highly recommended place, will not hesitate to stay again.
