Disappointment. Overpriced!

This is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, but I've stayed in youth hostels of better quality! Maybe it was up to standard in the 70's.
The room in itself was clean enough, but there was mold around the bathtub and on the (very old) shower curtain, a no-go! No hairdryer or amenities in a 4-star hotel?
The bed was comfortable, but the sofa-bed was like lying on a wooden board.
Well, I definately won't go back and pay 220€ per night for this poor quality!

The hotel is on the beach and the staff are friendly but the hotel has nothing else to recommend it. The fridges in the rooms make an awful noise and the corridors carry so much noise that every guest returning from the bar is likely to wake you up.

Very nice and clean hotel just next to the beach. Very large rooms. The beach is just extra large, ideal to walk the dog ! We also had a dinner at the restaurant, and it was very tasty. The people at the reception are very nice as well.

Nice and charming hotel nearby the beach of Wiek-an-zee, nice room, varied breakfast and well service-minded staff.
We didn’t get a room with a view to the see, in spite that we were staying 3 nights, so unlucky on this one. Beds could be larger (90cm), but that might a details for many customers.

I stayed at this hotel for one night during a short business trip to the Netherlands. The room was very spacious with twin beds, desk, sofa, table, kitchenette and a balcony you could see the sea from.

Breakfast was a basic affair with a selection of breads, cheese and ham as well as scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. I did not like the taste of any of the hot items.

One of my pet hates about some hotels and this one is the same is no power sockets near the bed. I like many people today use my mobile phone as an alarm clock and like to plug it in next to the bed so I can see the time in the middle of the night. The socket here was a far distance from the bed at the other side of the room so was very inconvenient.
