Villa Tamara is absolutely perfect and had everything we could have possibly required in a holiday letting. Beautifully decorated and in a perfect location, at the most a 10 min drive into Playa Blanca itself. Enjoyed my stay so much in Aug 2017 that I have already booked my return to Tamara for Aug 2018. Highly recommend.

Booking process great, no delays to any questions. The villa being easy to find with the given instructions. The villa itself is extremely spacious, clean and well equipped, the pool a great size, being cleaned twice throughout our stay. The villa is situated a 5 min walk to some lovely restaurants and a well stocked supermarket and is also on the bus route into playa blanca and the Marina Rubicon. We would not hesitate to return.

“Not the relaxing villa we hoped for....”

My mother and I have just returned from a week's holiday at villa Tamara. After boarding the plane, with still no advice as to how to locate or access the villa (despite several e-mails the day before travelling which were unanswered), we eventually arrived to the sight of construction underway at the two villas next door. This construction started each day from 7.30am to 6pm causing significant dust, dirt and disruption throughout our week's stay. We were also amazed to arrive to a bin full of rubbish in the back garden which was pretty unpleasant. Having stayed in self catering accommodation for over twenty years, the fact that there was not even basic items like a toilet roll or a dishcloth for guests to use when they arrived too was a disappointment. Had we arrived at night or on a Sunday, I'm not quite sure how we would have coped until we could access a shop. The pool area and villa are pretty but could do with the furniture being replaced which is not helped by the dust constantly blowing in to the garden. Like the previous reviewer has said, the villa whistles throughout both the day and night due to poorly fitted windows which also added to our lack of sleep on hard beds and being woken early in the morning from the builders next door. Overall, given the amount of money this villa cost at over 600 euros, we expected a lot more and at the very least, not to be living next to a building site for a week and a better standard of cleanliness.

“Seems some folks definition of spotless is different to others ....”

This review is deliberately brief as I believe the pictures will speak for themselves. We paid €947 for 6 nights, and after complaining, the owner offered and refunded €175. This still equates to €129 per night for a villa which was filthy in parts, and is severely lacking any investment. Broken sink, broken blinds, windows which constantly rattle and whistle in the wind , wifi with no password so the latest version of iOS prevents access for security reasons, and the icing on the cake was the constant building work on the adjacent next door property. Such a shame as this place could be so nice.
