Corzano e Paterno is an extraordinarily special place in the heart of Tuscany...straddling one of its most beautiful valleys...Val di Pesa. This was a return trip for me and I have now stayed in 2 separate rental houses on the vineyard (both times with groups of friends)....First in Erta and recently in Corzanello. Each are beautiful, offering different experiences. While Corzanello has walking access to the wine and cheese shop, Erta offers lovely, peaceful, serenity. Both houses have large kitchens with massive fireplaces...perfect for group dinners or cooking lessons. From talking to their Agriturissmo manager they continue to be a prized rental in the area. While the wine is good, the cheeses are internationally renowned, having been featured on an Anthony Bourdain episode, one I caught on TV! To add to this the location is a great central point to go out in any direction to explore Florence, Sienna, Lucca, etc. And we even did a hot-air balloon trip! I have to say...I will be going back AGAIN!
Have stayed here twice with family.
