We dismissed this restaurant initially because if it's location under the busy SS which passes along the coast in Porto Empedocle. It is a huge square building with bright lights and, I imagine, not much to absorb the sound when busy. It was not busy when we were there so the building seemed cavernous.
The food, however, is another matter. We had huge starters of local antipasti and another of fish. The fish fish contained cockles mussels octopus shrimp cocktail and other things I didn't recognise but were delicious. For mains we just had calzone which again was perfect. For under €50 including wine we thought it was excellent value.
So despite the setting give it a try.
