We spent five nights at the BW Plus Hotel Soleil Et Jardin while in Sanary-sur-Mer, a peaceful seaside resort on the Mediterranean Sea, in September. Our room was air-conditioned, quiet and very clean. We skipped the opulent breakfast buffet, as we preferred sampling the vast selection of local fish and vegetables at lunchtime. A beverage and freshly-baked croissants at a local bakery proved to be a sufficient start to the day.
The staff members spoke excellent English and were most accommodating. While out for the afternoon, our traveling companion's car unexpectedly broke down. The hotel's owner came to our rescue, personally picked us up in a nearby town and returned us to our hotel. This certainly exceeded his duties as an owner and we were most grateful!
The elevators afforded uncomplicated access to our room. The floors proved to be a bit uneven in some spots, and we needed to keep a close eye on them, as my husband is physically challenged.
We enjoyed the warmth of the South of France, and the warmth we experienced at this hotel. The outdoor pool was unfortunately closed due to renovation but we appreciated the secured car park. We will stay here again when in the area!More
