We really enjoyed a late lunch at this great taverna which felt authentic and appeared to cater for local people rather than be aimed at the tourist market. The service was friendly and efficient and we enjoyed grilled chicken and grilled sausages. Can be combined with "walk 3" in "Walk and Eat Kefalonia" by Brian and Eileen Anderson.

We have visited this restaurant every year for the last 7 consecutive years and have never been disappointed. We pop in for lunch if we want traditional cooked Greek food or we go at night for grilled meats.

This restaurant is an oasis, under the trees, perfect for hot summer days. Not fancy at all, but really traditional. The grilled meats are perfectly made, the portions huge and the prices low for the quality! Not to miss if you visit Omala valley where the wine coop of Robola is or Saint Gerasimos Monastery. It is open all day long, which is a plus because many taverns around the island are open for some hours for lunch and some hours for dinner,so if you eat only once per day in the afternoon, that is a problem!
