“Stunning views over the Forth”

The property was in a fantastic location, right on the beach. We enjoyed fabulous views across the Firth of Forth, and the cottage was convenient for taking the train into Edinburgh and exploring Fife. There was a pleasant welcome pack of local goodies on arrival.

The living room was large, light and very comfortable. The downstairs bedroom was well furnished and comfortable but access to the second bedroom was difficult as it was via a steep spiral staircase. The property was clean on arrival. However, we found the kitchenette frustrating as it was so tiny and some of the equipment was in need of replacement, and there was little space for storing food. There were also blankets and other items stored in wardrobes making it difficult to hang clothes

It took 4.5 weeks and 4 attempts at contacting the owner before our security bond was refunded

Wonderful place, ideal for walking and getting around by train. The cottage is in the most idyllic location.
We had a great week and made all the better having this great location to return to each night.

“A relaxing haven set in stunning surroundings.”

The cottage itself is comfortable and clean and the setting is amazing. The breathtaking views from the cottage and patio are outstanding. We have just spent a wonderful two weeks here with our grandchildren. The weather was perfect and there was so much to do with the beach only a stones throw away. We have been to many exotic places but I can honestly say this is one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays we've had.

My family and I had a wonderful experience staying at Seaside Cottage. It is in a convenient and beautiful location. It served us very well as a base for our vacation, and we enjoyed Burntisland as well. The cottage itself has everything you need, and the beds were very comfortable - an important feature! All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

I stayed in Seaside cottage for several weeks while exploring Edinburgh, Fife and the surrounding area. Family members joined me at weekends. Seaside Cottage is very convenient for touring this area by car or by taking the train,
The cottage is charming with fantastic views, and it is lovely to walk along the seafront.
Very helpful owners.
