“Lovely apartment in great location”
Reviewed 23 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We had a great holiday in San Pedro del Pinatar. We loved the apartment, which is well-equipped and comfortable, and especially enjoyed using the bikes that were available to us. We cycled and walked every day of our holiday, so this is a great place to go if you enjoy an active holiday. There's a great choice of beaches, either going south along the Mar Menor coastline, or heading north along the Mediterranean, where the water is crystal clear. You can also head just over the road to the salt flats and nature reserve, where you can walk or cycle along the boardwalks and wilder beaches. There are plenty of places to have tapas and a drink, just a short distance from the apartment. We would definitely love to return for another visit.

“Great location”
Reviewed 4 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Thank you Neil and Julie your apartment in San Pedro Del Pinatar was perfect for us. Myself, husband and teenage daughter stayed for 2 weeks in the apartment which was well appointed and had airconditioning which was essential this summer as the temperature was 30 degrees at night! Everything we could have needed was there except a sun parasol which I believe was provided but must have blown away during the last renters stay, but at £8.50 euros was cheap to replace.
We rented a car and toured the local area which has plenty to offer. We would reccommend getting up early and taking the bicyles provided to the windmill in Lo Pagan, the views are amazing and if your a keen photographer this will definitely tick your box.
Will definitely be back.

“A well furnished, very comfortable apartment, overlooking the pool.”
Reviewed 30 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

This apartment is beside the San Pedro Salinas with lovely walks and cycle paths. It's ideal for nature lovers. The Mar Menor and the Mediterranean beaches are a good walk or 5 minutes by car.
The newly opened sports facility in El Mojan is 10 minutes walk and it has great sports facilities and an excellent restaurant. We specially enjoyed the Thursday special from 9.00pm -11.00 where all of the superb range of tapas cost 1€ each.
The large balcony means that we could eat and live outdoors - only drawback: getting bikes upstairs.

“Fantastic holiday in a fantastic apartment”
Reviewed 29 September 2012 for a stay in September 2012

Myself and my family spent a week in the San Pedro apartment. On our arrival we found the apartment to be very clean and tidy. Everything that we could possibly need for our holiday was in the apartment. There were two decent sized bedrooms and a double pull out bed in the lounge. The bathroom was also a very good size not pokey like we have found in other places. The kitchen had everything we needed except perhaps a microwave but even then we actually found we didnt need one. There was a washing machine in the outhouse which we did use. We intended on purchasing inflatable toys and buckets and spades for the children but we didnt need to as we also found all this and more ready and waiting for us to use including beach chairs, parasols and sun loungers. There were also 2 very well kept bikes at our disposal which we found extremely useful when popping down to the local supermarket. Although there was a Lidl just down the road we found the spanish supermarket to be full of eveything we needed and not too expensive either. There were books, DVDs and plently of colouring pencils and books that the children could use. The English lady that we met on arrival who gave us the keys was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for her. She was a gem. We couldnt have done without her knowledge of the area etc. There was also a private pool for all the residents which we found to be exceptionally clean with the surrounding area very well kept and tidy. The perfect sun trap. The nearest beach was a fair walk away but once there we found it to be absolutely perfect for our young children.
All in all we have a superb holiday in this apartment and would definately recommend it to anyone. Many thanks to Leigh, Neil and Julie.

“Great spacious apartment, with everything you need for a comfortable stay.”
Reviewed 1 August 2012 for a stay in July 2012

From the booking stage, to arriving at the apartment we were very impressed with how well organised and helpful the owner was to ensure we had a stress free start to our holiday.

The apartment was clean, tastefully presented and air conditioned. The owners had gone to an awful lot of trouble preparing a detailed folder of places of interest with clear directions and local information. The two mountain bikes with locks in the property made getting around much easier in the heat! There are two supermarkets about 10 minutes walk away but the nearby petrol station has a handy supermarket for milk, fresh bread, water etc on arrival which is open each day till later in the evening.

The apartment has a balcony at the front, over looking the shared pool complex which offers a nice breeze and sunshine in the morning and shade in the afternoon when it gets hot. The pool itself is clean and the local residents and fellow guests were friendly and respectful of the complex.

We didn't get round to hiring a car this time round but would recommend pre booking one at Murcia airport before you come because there are lots of interesting places to visit. We enjoyed visiting the quieter beach at El Mojon and the bar close by.

There is a great paella bar next to the supermarket at El Mojon that we would highly recommend, very popular with the Spanish. Lo pagan beach we found to be a little busier but there is more choice of places to eat and drink. Casa Miguel is a great bar and restaurant on the beach front which serves iced cold beer and good tapas.

Market day in San Pedro is on Monday morning till lunch time and well worth a visit and on Tuesday there is a smaller market at El Mojon. Great fresh produce and local atmosphere.

Liked best: Clean and comfortable accommodation and option to use the bikes for getting about.
Liked least: The distance to travel to the beach and nearby amenities got a little tiresome.
