We went here for a dinner on Sunday night as this was one of the very very few places that are open on Sundays in Luxembourg. We had read the mixed reviews on Tripadvisor before we went but due to the lack of nice restaurants open on a Sunday, we couldn't really find any other alternative. As soon as we arrived there, we immediately noticed the very lovely garden outside. It probably helped that it was still bright with the sun out at 8pm in June. The weather was lovely and the garden as well as the outdoor terrace just seem to fit the day so well. Nevertheless, we had a table indoor but next to the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door. We were greeted with the menu promptly and shortly served with our aperitif drinks as well as some small starters. Overall, we found the place very lovely with great ambiance. The service was normal - prompt, polite and the waiter asked us after each course if everything was alright. He also made a good recommendation for a bottle of red wine after we telling him what we usually like. The presentation of the food was, like the place, very lovely. The actually food itself was alright. I mean, there wasn't anything wrong with the food, but at the same time, I don't feel like the food has impressed me, especially like how a Michelin Star restaurant should do. And I also agree with another review that the steak has a very strong taste of the pepper sauce - however, unlike the other poster, I actually quite enjoy the pepper sauce, so didn't have any issue with it. Will we go back again? well, we'll most likely try some other places, but the garden and the charming ambiance might just be enough. Though be warned that the food might not quite be on par as their Michelin rating. And, the menu is only available in French, so tourists be careful! Lastly, we were a bit surprised that they don't take American Express, so make sure you have a Visa or Master ;)

We went there for a nice evening out and the atmosphere is nice (too loud though) and has been described before. On arrival some dude asked us whether we would like him to park our car at €8. The restaurant is in the middle of nowhere and loads of parking is available on and off the premises, so we declined. The Bar was shut due to a private function and we went straight to our table. My partners food was ok but my filet with pepper sauce had to go back once, because it was unedible and tasted of pepper only. it came back with a meaningless boring sauce, instead. We declined sweets and finished our wine, which was nice. Atmosphere was nice, maybe a bit loud. Thats probably better if you get to sit on the outside terrace.

Given their international rating, I don't think their effort was at par.

I just love this place - its a bit out in the boondocks as far as Luxembourgers are concerned, but the place is very busy. This is one of the most spectacular "Barn Convertions" that I have ever seen - stunning. The food is super - you can even stand and watch the team of chefs cook if that's what ticks your box. This is the place to book if you want a special nigh out - parking is an issue - but they will park your car for you, and bring it back at the end of your visit - very "American" - highly recommended!

Toit Pour Toi has been our favorite spot in Luxembourg for a few years. It was "the" place for special evening celebrations. Unfortunately, things have changed over the past few months and I can no longer say it is deserving of its Michelin star. The service was quite appalling. The waiter was quick and rushed the entire time and NO ONE asked us if we enjoyed our food or dinner - not during, not after our courses, not when we asked for the bill - unacceptable. The glass doors were also cracked and shattered - bad maintenace of the building. We used to order the "chateaubriand" which was very good, but the menu has changed and the only similar option is the "cote a l'os", but do not be fooled - DON'T get this dish. Our meat was inedible. It was so chewy/fatty that we were grossed out after just a few bites. When they cleaned up our meat plate, it was almost untouched, but they didn't say or ask anything! There was also no menu option, you have to pick dish by dish brasserie-style. I am sad to say that we will not be returning to Toit Pour Toi. Please select another Michelin star in Luxembourg.
