This agriturismo is well-located and perfect for families. We had a private apartment with two double bedrooms and an open kitchen/living area that was wonderful for relaxing together as a family.

The hostess is incredibly warm, attentive and friendly. Her breakfast is delicious - all homemade yogurts and jams. She even noticed we brought lactose free milk and on the next day she gave us lactose free yogurt :)

High recommended!

My wife and I loved our stay at Lunadoro. We stayed here once before in 2013, and we were welcomed back like family! Gigliola and Dario are perfect hosts with a wealth of knowledge of the local area. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The location is just perfect, in easy reach of so many things to see, from the wine towns of Montalcino and Montepulciano to Sienna, and all the smaller local attractions that our hosts were able to direct us to - for one small example the charming Capella Madonna di Vitaleta. Added bonus - Gigliola made a reservation for us at Ristorante Daria in nearby Monticchiello where we were treated like royalty! We're already planning our return visit next spring.

Fantastic location and very nice swimming pool in an exceptional setting. If only our room was a bit more comfortable, especially the bathroom, which seemed a bit aged. Overall, however, it is a nice place for a short stay. Breakfast wasn't that great, nor the hospitality.

We had a terrific stay at Lunadoro. Gigliola was terrific, she guided us where to go, what to see and gave us terrific recommendations for restaurants in the area. The whole Valle d'Orcia was a beautiful part of Tuscany, in our view the best part of the entire area. Gigliola and her daughter graciously invited us to tour the cantina near Montepulciano where they produce the terrific Vino Nobile de Montepulciano - we bought several bottles.
