Description: The restaurant "Il Fienile" is located in Massa Lubrense, near Sant'Agata sui due golfi. Inaugurated in June 2012 after having restructured an old barn of family. Surrounded by nature and overlooking the Gulf of Salerno, is the perfect location for a dining experience full of healthy eating and relaxation. Fruits and vegetables directly from the garden, fresh fish of the sea and local meats cooked with wisdom and creative chef Luigi, also master of hand-made pasta and desserts. We also produce olive oil, wine and some digestive as blueberry, limoncello and finocchietto. Do not hesitate to satisfy special dietary requirements (vegetarian, celiac or any personal preference).

We just had dinner at Il Fienile. We were picked up at our hotel by one of the brothers, and told the story of the restaurant on our way. For dinner, we had incredible beef carpaccio, two pasta dishes - ravioli with seafood and tagliolini with mushrooms and almond sauce, and fried shrimp and calamari. All were wonderful. We drank grandpa's falanghina, which was unique and perfect with dinner. To finish, we had, no exaggeration, the best panna cotta we have ever eaten. Unbelievable. Highly recommend!

We were staying in St. Agata Sue Due Golfi, and this place was a 1.5 km walk..it was definitely worth the visit. Good looking family run restaurant with fantastic food. The service was excellent. We had the Risotto (with Spinach and scallops), eggplant parmigiana, seafood ravioli (with crab stuffing) along with the house wine. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. The owner (Jacomo) was so kind as to drop us back in his car to our place. Would highly recommend this place.

We stayed in Sant Agata and we didn't have a car but had noticed in the reviews that if you phone them up they will come and pick you up AND take you home! Well the owners son picked us up spot on at 7:30pm and drove us to Torca. Unfortunately it was dark so we didn't get the views etc but we did get the hospitality. My wife had marinated beef carpaccio with flakes of parmigiano and balsamic vinegar and I had handmade black(squid ink) scialatielli with shrimps and courgettes. My wife then had Beef fillet wrapped in lemon leaves and I had Chef style prawns. With wine and deserts etc this meal was 87 euro, well worth it for 2. I would say this was the best meal I had in the 14 days we were in the area. We really wanted to come back once more before we left but time and circumstances beat us. If you are reading this review and are considering this restaurant in your itinerary then go early in your holiday because you will be sure to want to do it again before you go.

After a week eating out at some of the most highly recommended restaurants in Sorrento,Positano and Ravello we found this place in Trip Advisor whilst looking for somewhere local, charming and with a view of the sea. It had the best ravioli we had eaten anywhere. The food is superb and we had a blissful lunch on the terrace looking at the view. The driveway up is steep and accessible one angle we missed it but you can turn round easily just down the road. It is family run and they really care about the food, about looking after their guests and are proud to provide great food and have a background of training in good restaurants in London, Paris and Sydney. Well worth a visit.
