As a group of 9 girls, we arrived to the apartment with a warm welcome from Ivana (and also a complimentary bottle of wine and some biscuits!) She was more than helpful in advising us with places to eat, things to see and do in the area, and even went to the trouble of driving us to the nearest big supermarket to help us do our first shop. The property was lovely and spacious, our favourite spot being the main balcony where we spent a lot of time sunbathing, playing cards and eating breakfast overlooking the beautiful views of the sea. The only problem we had was how hot it was at night, although there is air con in the kitchen, it was still a bit difficult to get it circulating around the whole apartment but Ivana did give us tips on how to keep it cool. The kitchen was also well equipped so it's easy enough to eat in as well as eating out. Plat was a small, peaceful place with a few nice bars by the beach, we ate at the restaurant on the beach whilst watching the sunset which was just perfect! It's easy enough to either get the bus or the boat taxi into Dubrovnik old town which we did a lot whilst we were there, and Ivana gives you all the details on where to catch the bus and boat. We also did an island hopping boat trip which we would recommend, which is 200 kuna (the equivalent of £20) and they also give you lunch and drinks on board. Overall, we would definitely recommend this apartment, our favourite parts being the local beaches with the clear seas and the views from the balconies!
