We just stayed 2 nights at Carrick Lodge Motel. Probably the best accommodation on our tour of the South Island. High quality interior and very clean. Would recommend the units with outdoor seating area towards the golf course, the other units have seating facing the car park. Excellent location across the road from shopping centre with bars and restaurants. Quiet at night nonetheless. Highly recommended!!!More

The motel was excellent. Very clean, well appointed and super comfortable.
The owners were attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
The shopping centre was just across the road.

stayed only one night, lucky enough to be able to check in a little earlier which was helpful, the room was comfortable, super clean, roomy and the reception was great. We got a little bottle of fresh milk on check in for our coffee which was awesome. Great location close to town, it was an enjoyable stay, would recommend.

Only stayed one night and found it to be very clean and well appointed. Very, very comfortable bed. Liked that they provided a small bottle of milk rather than those tiny sachets. Good easy access and parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful and was great that the shopping mall and plenty of restaurants were just across the road. No hesitation in recommending and would definitely stay again.

Came to cromwell for a girls night away and to see the light up winter festival. On arrival owners were friendly and helpful and even gave us a token to use that night - very kind! Room was warm, clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable as! Just a quick walk across the street to the centre. Would definitely stay again.

Upon arriving on a cold evening the curtain to room had been pulled and heat pump was on .
Clean room , great shower , extremely comfortable. Restaurants and cafes walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful with late checkoutb
