Wonderful newly renovated and very well equipped cottage in a stunning area. This was the second time we visited and we will definitely be back. We and our dog were made very welcome. The cottages are located in a really tranquil location but are also easily accessible to the main attractions. Perfect if you want a peaceful break with lots of outdoor activities. Lots of beautiful walks locally and further afield.

Jon and I are so pleased that all three of you enjoyed your time at Crubenbeg; it’s so rewarding to have return guests who continue to fall in love with this magical part of the world time and again. Please don’t wait too long to come back, as Coco misses Alfie very much!):

Best wishes

The cottages are in a great location, with walks from the door as well as lots of things to do in the surrounding area. A very cosy place to stay in on a snowy day (with the lovely log fire) and a great base to go out from on a sunny day. Smart looking interiors with a wonderful welcome from the hosts. Convenient and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if returning to the area.

Start to finish amazing! The cottage was just beautiful proper gorgeous surrounded by the most awesome scenery.
Lily & Jou the owners were so friendly & couldn"t be more helpful - thanks a bunch for the lifts to Aviemore & Newtonmore.
Crubenbeg is a must if you want the most heavenly peaceful break & you"ve got the options of lots of fun activities nearby to.
The walks are awesome too, The falls of Truim just down the hill from cottage are gorgeous. We seen roe deer, hare, voles, grouse, Merlin, Pheasant & Rabbits around Crubeanbeg!

We will definetly be back!

Thankyou Alison for writing such a kind review. Jon and I are so pleased that you and Ross and Ziggy had a relaxing holiday and loved the cottage and surrounding area. Hopefully if you return in the summer the temperature will be a little warmer): There’s not usually snow in July): Best wishes Lily and Jon

Jon and Lily the hosts are amazing. Been coming here for 10 years or more so have always loved the cottages, previous hosts and the area but having recently taken over, these two lovely people have transformed the cottages and the welcome into something really special. Don't hesitate to book this place. Only problem is that the accommodation is now so fabulous you may not want to go out!
All that aside, this is a great base from which to explore the area. Plenty of walks either from the property or having driven. There is so much to do and see in the area, highlights for us are Cairngorm Reindeer herd, Mountain Railway, Strathspey Highland Railway, walk along the drive to Ardverdike House (used for several films) and looking for dolphins at Chanonry Point, although, even having visited several times we have yet to see any.

Room Tip: All cottages are lovely, it doesn't matter which you choose

Thankyou so much Lindsey for taking the time to write such a kind review. We're thrilled you enjoyed your holiday as much as previous visits and you even brought the sunshine for a few days anyway!! You guys were perfect guests, the cottage was spotless when you left; a joy to clean ( although not much cleaning was required). Really looking forward to seeing you next year. Best wishes Lily and Jon

Pleasantly surprised by the new decor and lovely friendly new owners, also pleased to see they are using local products in the bathrooms. Always a pleasure to stay particularly now with the new heaters in the cottages. Will be back
