4 of us had a family break over easter at Drifters Inn . Right from the time we walked in you could tell Andy and Adele would go the extra mile to help with whatever was needed.
The rooms were very nice and well equipped, the nice lounge with open fire and cozy couches a highlight..

The kitchen was well equipped being an ex restaurant kitchen so you didn't want for anything.
The large easter eggs outside everyones door on Sunday was a wonderful touch and well appreciated by the guests.
Straight over the road from the hot pools with towels provided by the lodge was handy.
I'd highly recommend Drifters for anyone heading to Hanmer Springs

We had a wonderful stay at Drifter's Inn in Hanmer over Easter weekend. Andy and Adele clearly go an extra mile to make sure their guests are comfortable and happy. We were very pleased with the extra friendly service, free unlimited wifi, use of the huge and well equipped kitchen and lounge area (which had a warm country lodge feel including a big open fire in the lounge), excellent location and parking (right across from the hot pools), and our suite was just terrific, all for a great price. We even received a lovely surprise of chocolate easter bunnies outside our door on Sunday morning, what a lovely touch! We will certainly be staying here next time we make it up to Hanmer. Thank you Andy and Adele.

We arrived without having pre-booked, and got the last available room. It was modern, spotless and spacious with bed and a couch. The receptionist kindly showed us the room first, and then the communal kitchen. That sold it for us. What an awesome facility the kitchen, dining room and lounge are. Although there are restaurants within a couple of minutes walking distant, we chose to cook our own, and enjoyed meeting other guests doing the same. We loved the large open fireplace in the lounge. The hot pools are right across the road. We will be back.

Room tip: Corner suite was large and sunny.

Stopped in for an over night stay after 4 days hiking. Beds were superb comfy and Andy was really helpful even when we called to book in after 7pm. Andy sorted us out a room with 2 single beds in less than 10min he was really accommodating. Great spot would absolutely recommend.

We stayed here at the weekend. we go to Hanmer 1 or 2 times a year but hadn't stayed here before. Right across the road from the pools and next door to a fabulous restaurant. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and so well located to the township. The lady on reception was very polite, friendly and helpful. There is a well resourced communal kitchen downstairs with an adjoining lounge.
We would definitely stay here again.

Room tip: we had an upstairs room
