Staff on arrival were very welcoming. They knew whom we were before we even said whom we were. That was exceptional.
Shared kitchen/ longer was home away from home. Meet some lovely guests that shared with us.
Room clean and very warm. Everything you want in one compact area. Towels for pools provided.

Would stay again, thank you team for a wonderful welcome and stay.

Great find on way to Nelson. Directly across road from pools, free towel for pools and extremely good price. I didn't think a quality accommodation stay would be available for $100 a night, but I was wrong.
You cannot go wrong with Drifters
Plus, the most important thing it was exceptionally clean.
Thank you Drifters Inn

First time staying one night, and finally found a place to return! So much to choose from but with great hosts Adele and Alan's welcome and personal touch, this is a real comfortable home away from home!
As only one night, booked a standard double room with ensuite, but perfect.
Lovely shared modern kitchen and lounge area with warm fire. We arrived the day it snowed in the early hours, but no more whilst there. The whole place warm and welcoming.
Across the road from pools, free towels to take there such a bonus. Who needs more - just perfect

Stopped here for one night en route from Granity to Christchurch. We had not booked anywhere so this was 'pot luck'! We were greeted by the host Andy who happily showed me a couple of rooms (we are travelling with adult son). We chose interconnecting rooms - both with views of the snow capped mountains. The price, location & welcome were all perfect & it's a shame we could not stay longer. The bed was very comfortable & we had everything we needed within walking distance. The bathroom was small, but fully functional. Just a shame that there wasn't more snow, but maybe next time!
