very comfy well appointed rooms...loved the wooden furnishings and colours used in decoration of the room.
Very good shower and well appointed kitchen.
Warm and ambient room with friendly staff, the owner gave us reccomendations for meals out as well as told us about Naturewalk in nearby forest.

Overall very good. When I arrived there was no one to check me in at the counter. Waited for awhile and rang bell 3x and eventually walked around property. Finally got the attention of staff and Jill kindly checked me in. Apologized profusely. No probs, first time it's happened. Jill very welcoming and friendly and very accommodating (excuse the pun.) Room was serviced everyday and they did a fantastic job of cleaning. Room was nicely heated before I arrived. Pity the freezer is not upto standard had same issues as last time where my ice cream was not properly frozen. Jill kindly put it in her freezer and I could retrieve at my leisure. Overall very good. Very well looked after and keep going back.

Yes the kitchenettes do only have a small fridge & freezer available however we are more than happy to store large food items in our motels fridge/freezer unit which can be accessed during office hours between 8am - 8pm.
We look forward to seeing you back again at Settlers again - hopefully it won't be as cold next time & you get to enjoy more of the great biking that Hanmer Springs has to offer.

We were gifted a voucher package which was great in itself, but once we arrived, we realised it was even better than on paper. Wonderful friendly hosts. Clean, warm and well presented room with clever attention to detail that all contributed to a very comfortable relaxing stay. Wish we'd been staying longer.

A lovely place to stay with all the little extras in the room. Attention to detail. Jill was very welcoming and very helpful. Very clean and all we needed. Advice on where to eat for an evening meal. What more could you ask for.
