We stayed in a kitchen cabin plus and it was great! A tad dated but it makes up with how immaculately clean everything was! The beds and bedding are amazingly comfy, facilities are great and the kids loved their time here! They were well entertained by the awesome playground and games room!
It suited all our needs and we will be back!
We were refused entry based on the fact we were a group of nine people (this was not stipulated in the terms and conditions) and should not have had an impact given the fact that we were camping. Staff were rude and did not try to accommodate us at all, they also had no valid reason as to why they would not let us stay there. We were then left without accommodation after driving for two hours and had to go elsewhere. Would not waste your time booking at this park, spend the extra money and go to the top ten campground!!!
Stayed a night in a unpowered cabin. Inside was very average with torn curtains. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and on inspection the base had broken. Clean (as far as we could tell) though.
Wouldn't stay in a cabin in winter as there is no heating (obviously).
Bit of a walk to the pools.

Kitchdoor and toilets looked little old.

For people who go to the toilet....
Please but it in the toilet and not on the side or where you sit in!! You don't do that at your own toilet either!!!
I thought this holiday park was great! If you are after low cost accommodation with a good old fashioned kiwi family flavour, this will tick the boxes. The setting is lovely with established trees in a quiet environment outside of the main township. Plenty for the kids to do including a playground and swimming pool. Our unit had all we needed and expected for a budget price. It may not be the flashest place around but is a great family environment which reminds me of the good old days!
